quad-core Core i7 and Core 2 Quad CPUs carry over unchanged, Intel's Q9400 and Q9300 saw a 14% cut, down from $213 to $183, while their entry-level quad-core CPUs with 4MB of L2 cache (the Q8400 and Q8300) had their prices reduced 11% from $183 to $163.
