How did you get started in fitness?
I’ve been active my entire life. I was a competitive gymnast and cheerleader so I always had to incorporate fitness into my life.
Your career as been going awesome, you’re on Velocity’s Overhaulin’, the UFC is getting bigger and bigger, how do you stay motivated in your career?
I have the biggest supporters in my family especially my mom. She’s always taught be to be a driven independent woman.
What’s your favorite music to workout to?
Anything up beat! I love EDM and hip-hop when I’m working out.
What’s your favorite cheat meal?
Has to be pizza!
How do you deal with cravings?
I give in to them when necessary. Moderation is key and having one cheat day a week helps.
What does your diet consist of?
Lots of veggies, nuts, and fruit to snack on. Lean meats like fish and chicken. I try to eat low carbs too, choosing stuff like quinoa over rice.
What are your 3 favorite exercises?
Boxing/kickboxing because it the best way to de-stress and blow off steam, cycling because its the most fun way to burn calories, and squats because they are essential to my petite frame.
Which female celebrity’s physique do you admire the most?
Brooke Burke! She’s a mom and still looks amazing! She is constantly promoting a healthy lifestyle.
What celebrity male’s physique do you find idea on guys?
Ryan Gosling because he is lean and toned.
What supplements would you recommend?
Protein powder thats low in carbs and sugar for after your workouts, glucosamine for an active person, fish oil, digestive enzyme, and vitamin c.
What’s next for you?
I would like to continue my career in TV hosting and other entertainment.
Do you have any advice or inspirational words for someone who is aspiring to get into the fitness world?
I think of fitness as a lifestyle and not a chore. the first step to a healthy lifestyle is YOU! |
