A Chilean man, Jose Vergara Acevedo, was seriously injured when the elevator he was riding malfunctioned and shot up 31 floors in just 15 seconds. Acevedo can be seen in the surveillance video frantically trying to get the elevator to stop before it crashed into the roof of the building.
