Daily reports that Intel has opted to phase out ten desktop and mobile
processors. Three of the doomed CPUs feature the still-latest-and-greatest 45nm
Penryn core. Intel will stop taking orders for the Core 2 Quad Q9450, Core 2 Duo
E8200, and Core 2 Duo E8190 on January 9 next year. These 45nm processors
