I wasn't going to comment on this one but here we go... the 737 is one of the safest planes in the world (yes the max had its problems, and that's why they are not flying at the moment). I'm not here to say that this plane was shot down, but it might be the case, giving the circumstance in Iran right now. If a plane has technical problems it won't fall of the skies burning in a bright ball of fire, that does not happen, you can say they might have had a fire on its engine, but that wouldn't make the plane to crash, there are a lot of procedures to deal with emergencies like this! And the pilots are trained to deal with them! One of the most common thing that will cause an engine to "spit fire" is a compressor stall, and that's not a problem at all! A plane can safely come back and land at the airport if this happens, and some times this is fixed in flight and they will keep flying to their destination!! And remember a plane will fly with only one engine working, no problem at all!!! And like I said the pilots are trained to deal with emergencies and I'm sure they did their best to save them and as much lives as they could, unfortunately seems like all of them died (from not being a crash from a technical problem). Rest in peace all the people that were sadly killed in this accident. We should all have respect for the victims.
