Hardware reports on the latest GPU to ship from NVIDIA, the GeForce 7900 GS,
which is now available as an option in select Dell XPS systems /Adding a second
GeForce 7900 GS-based card to the XPS 600 adds £188/$250 to the price/. Like
other GeForce 7900s, the GS features a 256-bit memory bus that, in this case,
connects to 256MB of GDDR 3 SDRAM. The GPU's a 90nm part with 20 pixel
processors, down from the 7900 GT's 24. Presumably it has lower memory and core
clock frequencies too. For now it appears to be an OEM-only option however.
