MTV's music video network will launch its answer to iTunes on Wednesday, it will be interesting to see what comes out. I thought the use of Windows Media Player 11 was interesting. Here's some info:

MTV is poised to launch a digital music service that combines a new version of Microsoft's Windows Media Player with the popular media outlet's substantial music connections. The service, called Urge, will provide an alternative to online music stores such as iTunes, Napster, and Rhapsody. In addition to offering an initial library of some two million songs from most major and independent labels, Urge will provide downloads of MTV shows and other original programming.  One notable element of Urge's launch is an entirely new version of Microsoft's Windows Media Player software. Microsoft redesigned the new software, formally moving from version 10 to version 11, to make navigating large music and video collections much more efficient.
