Camilla Anne Luddington (born December 15th 1987 Ascot, Berkshire) is an English actress, brought to national attention by being cast as Kate Middleton in the 2011 film William & Kate. Originally from Berkshire, where she was educated at an all-girls school in Ascot, Berkshire, and later attended TASIS England in Surrey before completing her education at Oxford, she has worked mainly in the United States. In February 2011, the Daily Mail described her as "on the path to fame and fortune after being cast as Kate Middleton in a planned movie about the royal wedding". However, The Daily Telegraph reported a warning from a fellow-actor that "the royal role may not be a great career move". Luddington has been cast in a role for the fifth season of the Showtime series Californication.
