received word about an upcoming Abit IL-80MV motherboard that is claimed to
be the world's first with an HDMI connector. HDMI is an interface that allows
the transmission of High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection-encrypted
multi-channel audio and high-definition video through a single cable with a
small, 19-pin connector. Aside from HDMI, the IL-80MV reportedly sports an Intel
945GT chipset, as well as a microATX form factor and an mPGA479 socket designed
to accommodate Intel's Core Duo mobile processor (and, DailyTech claims, mobile
Core 2 Duos once they ship).
