Korea based CMTech has announced
the CD-1000 flash memory based PMP. The CD-1000 has a 4.3 inch TFT LCD and a
T-DMD receiver which allows you to watch digital broadcasts on the move. The PMP
plays a majority of the media formats including DIVX, XVID, MP3, and WMV9. The
CD-1000 has a SD card slot for memory expansion, stereo speaker and USB
connectivity. Also included is a Digital Album for storing and organizing your
favourite pics. However unlike other PMP's the CD-1000 has Flash memory instead
of a hard drive. The company justifies this by saying that hard drives are
vunerable to external shocks and flash memory enhances portability with slim and
