Apple seems to be making a pretty big deal about this whole Retina display technology used in the new iPhone 4, but is the 960 x 640 pixel resolution LCD with 326 ppi really that good? A new video released will let you see for yourself.
In related news, AT&T announced that due to unprecedented demand for the iPhone 4, it is suspending pre-orders. According to AT&T, it received 10 times as many pre-order requests for the iPhone 4 yesterday as it did for the iPhone 3GS a year ago.

It is a huge deal but primarily compared to the grainy, nasty old iPhones. A lot of people out here have been rocking 800x480 screens in the same size for a long time already, and the difference there will be noticeable but not as massive as from the old iPhones; they kind of sucked all along.
