NVIDIA Forceware 197.45 drivers released - [software] 12:58 PM EDT - Apr,14 2010 - post a comment NVIDIA has just released new
WHQL-certified ForceWare drivers (v197.45) for GeForce 6, 7,
8, 9, 100, 200, and 300-series desktop GPUs and ION desktop GPUs.
Owners of the new GTX 400 series cards, however, still require the use
of 197.41 WHQL. The latest driver gives a PhysX system software update
to 9.10.0129 as well as a bunch of game-specific performance
enhancements, additional SLI profiles and various bug fixes, all
detailed within the release notes here (PDF).
What's New in Version 197.45
- Recommended for achieving the best performance with the new GPU-accelerated features in Adobe CS5.
- Added support for the new version of MotionDSPʹs video enhancement software,
vReveal, which adds support for HD output.
- This driver package installs NVIDIA PhysX System Software v9.10.0129.NVIDIA PhysX acceleration is available on all GeForce 8-series, 9-series, 100-series,
and 200-series GPUs with a minimum of 256MB dedicated graphics memory and a minimum of 32 processor cores.
- This driver package installs the HD audio driver, version 1.0.9.1.
