Fudzilla reports that Intel will officially end production of the Core i7-920 during this quarter.
The 920 was essentially replaced by the Core i7-930 last month. It runs at 2.8GHz with 8MB of L3 cache and 4.8 GT/sec QPI interface. Intel's list price is $294, $10 more than the Core i7-920.
