Intel's finally concocted a replacement for the Core i7-920, the last remaining Bloomfield CPU from Intel's November 2008 launch. The Core i7-930 runs at 2.8GHz, with 8MB of L3 cache and 4.8 GT/sec QPI interface. Intel's list price is $294, $10 more than the Core i7-920. Besides the new i7, Intel's also rolling out a new Atom CPU today. The N470 is based on Intel's PineView platform. It's a single-core CPU clocked at 1.83GHz with 512K of cache. Official price is $75, making it the priciest Atom CPU Intel offers at the moment. TDP is 6.5 watts.
