Amazon is apparently making a very tempting proposition to some of its active customers (such as regular book purchasers on the site): go ahead and order a Kindle, and if you don't like it, you'll get your money back — and get to keep the device. In other words, if you're not satisfied you'll get a free Kindle (and an Amazon-branded cover). Talk about putting your money where your mouth is. It's unclear what they mean by 'active,' but many users who have recieved the offer are those who purchase at least a book a month (some exceptions have been reported as well). The deal is non-transferable and expires at 11:59 PM on January 25th, 2010.
