iSuppli did a teardown on the Google Nexus One, which is built by HTC, and found that the materials used cost a bit over $174. You can see a detailed breakdown of the parts at iSuppli's site. The OLED display cost less than the processor while 4GB of DDR DRAM cost them 20 bucks. Google is selling unlocked versions of the Nexus One at an unsubsidized price of $529, or at $179 with a two-year service contract from T-Mobile.
