According to
AMD's Catalyst 9.8 driver page, AMD has moved several DX9 only capable video cards into legacy status. The list of video cards now in a legacy support structure are noted on that page. These now legacy video cards will no longer receive driver updates in Windows 7. However, you can still use Vista drivers in Windows 7, of which the latest is Catalyst 9.8. This at least allows you to run them just fine under Windows 7, you just won't see any more driver updates for them officially. This only affects the video cards listed on that page, and does not affect any DX10 and DX11 generation video cards. Share your thoughts on this move.
