According to
Digitimes, Asustek Computer is expected to launch an 8.9-inch touchscreen netbook Eee PC T91MT around the timeframe of the Microsoft Windows 7 launch. The company also plans to launch the 10-inch Eee PC T10 series netbooks in December, but that will depend on how sales of the Eee PC T91MT go. The December schedule may shift either forward or back, based on sales results of the Eee PC T91MT.
The launch schedule for the touchscreen-based Eee PC T10 series has reportedly been pushed back a couple of times. Previously, Asustek moved the launch date from early summer to September 2009, though sources did state in July that the September launch date may be moved back even further. The Eee PC T91MT is an upgraded version of Asustek's Eee PC T91. New features include a multi-touch compatible display supported by Windows 7 and a built-in 32GB solid state drive (SSD).
