Tech-Reviews.co.uk posted a review of the ASUS P6T SE X58 i7 Motherboard. Here's a taster:

In all the tests the Asus P6T SE performed very well to standards expected from much higher end X58 motherboards. But that's hardly surprising, as the P6T SE is pretty much a P6T with a few minor features and SLI removed.

The board layout is well designed and makes cable management much easier. Moreover, the amount of space around the CPU area makes installing an aftermarket cooler very simple. However, I would've liked for the CPU fan header to be situated in its normal positioning and for perhaps a couple of more 3-pin fan headers to be added.

The onboard Power Button makes testing the board as an open-chassis system extremely simple. This was definitely helpful for me when reviewing the board – I don't use a case – and would also be of use for hardcore overclockers.

The only real gripe I have about the ASUS P6T SE is its lack of SLI support. This is one of very few X58 motherboards which do not support SLI as well as Crossfire. However, the removal of SLI support is what makes the P6T SE £25 cheaper.

To sum it up, if you have no intention of going down the SLI route and are looking for a high performance budget X58 board, I can thoroughly recommend you consider the ASUS P6T SE.
