The appropriately dubbed iCar Remote is the latest app for the iPhone and it is available through the App Store for $6.99. When you order the app, they'll ship a receiver that sits on your car's dash so that your iPhone can interact with your vehicle (a Civic, in this case). The app can be used to opening and close your windows and doors. It can also be used to drive your car! Apparently, it's quite sensitive.
The app will give you a photo representation of your dash and then you use the iPhone's tilt sensor and touchscreen to perform the various actions. You can check out the demo in the video below:

How they hell does it control the opening and closing of the doors?
This is also effectively a remote control for driving a car which is illegal. It is not too hard to imagine why that is dangerous.
