According to
TechConnect, Intel has
now tweaked its processor offer by making a few price adjustments and
introducing a two more LGA775 quad-cores. The Core 2 Quad Q8400 and
Q8400S are both made on 45nm technology, feature a frequency of 2.66
GHz, a 1333 MHz FSB and 4MB of L2 cache. The 95W TDP Q8400 and 65W
Q8400S cost $183 and $245 respectively. As for the price cuts, the
desktop-prone Q9300, Q9550S, Q9400S and Q8200S went down to $213, $320,
$277 and $213 respectively, while three mobile and three server
processors, all listed below, faced slashes between 2% and 18%.
