Using Nvflash and a generic GTS 250 BIOS,
Guru3D describes you how to flash your
Geforce 9800GTX+ into a Geforce GTS 250. What's more, with
this technique, you can get yourself another GTS 250 and run both cards
in SLI mode!
Firstly, download NVFlash v5.72 and put it onto your USB flash drive.

here) Next, you need to boot into
good old DOS. You can do this by loading up a DOS bootdisk, which you
can download from
http://www.bootdisk.com. Make sure
you select boot from floppy in the motherboard BIOS. Once you've loaded
into DOS and you have a command prompt ... you need to save the
existing ROM from your original Geforce 9800GTX+ by typing in this
command:
nvflash --save OLD.ROM
