Nikon began a major ad campaign Wednesday for its stylish new Coolpix S6
digital camera using controversial fashion maven and supermodel
Kate Moss.
The hot new
camera (US$499.95) is a 6-megapixel point-and-shoot model that is less than an
inch thick despite having a bright 3-inch-wide LCD screen. Its features include
WiFi connectivity and embedded software that facilitates slide shows. Music is
included to make it even easier. Internal memory is 24MB. For the
photographically challenged among you, there is also an in-camera red-eye fix.
