Recently Gmail Labs has introduced the option of multiple Inboxes in Gmail. Google Software Engineer, Octavian Costache is the brain behind this idea, implementing the Google's famous 20% time where employees spend 20% of their work time doing personal things. So starting today, you can implement the multiple inboxes and spend less time monitoring important messages that could get filtered away. Gmailers who want to try it need to turn on 'Multiple Inboxes' in the Labs tab under 'Settings', then can configure what they want to see, as well as set the number of messages displayed and the positioning of their panels.
