As far as I can tell, the most expensive cell phone app on iTunes, available
since July, is called
iRa
Pro from
Lextech Labs
and goes for $899.99. iRa Pro provides touch based viewing and control of IP
based video surveillance equipment. Inspired by the mobility needs of the
high-end security industry, iRa Pro enables users to view multiple live video
feeds directly from cameras or from video management servers and to directly
control pan-tilt-zoom cameras using the intuitive touchscreen interface of the
iPhone and iPod touch. If you are looking to access cameras directly, rather
than through a video management server, take a look at iRa Direct. iRa Direct
communicates strictly with cameras and video digitizers, while iRa Pro allows
you to access live video from video management servers. For $900, I think it is
the closest you can feel about being James Bond ;)
