Firefox 3 Release Candidate 2 is available in more than 45 languages as a public preview release intended for developer testing and community feedback.What I have consistently noticed in my tests of Firefox 3.0 versions for Windows leading up to RC2 is the absence of easily our least favorite feature of Firefox 2.0: the memory leak. In almost 100% of my trials where two or more FF2 windows are loaded with a dozen or more pages each, and at least one of those pages in each window has active JavaScript, we can watch the leak happen in front of our eyes in Task Manager. Ever since Beta 3 of FF3, I have not seen any evidence of the same leak, and this fact alone lends substance to Mozilla's claim that any of its FF3 pre-releases could easily replace FF2 today for most users. who cares about memory leaks in a browser? Whats the absolute highest you've ever see a browser use for memory? 200MB? ooooooooooh.

I'd rather they fix the crashing due to java plugins and crappy flash.

At last! The features that I've been enjoying for years in Opera, like NO memory leaks, available on firefox!!! Good job :P
