The new Asus Eee PC 900 is now available for order at Amazon.com. The online retail giant has a price set at around $550 - $580, depending on specs. The Eee PC 900 12G comes with Windows XP Home Edition, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, and 12GB of flash storage, while the Eee PC 900 20G has Linux pre-installed and also packs 1GB of RAM, but with a meatier 20GB of flash storage capacity. Both laptops also have 8.9", 1024 x 600 displays, Intel Celeron CPUs, Intel integrated graphics, 802.11g Wi-Fi, 100Mbps Ethernet, VGA video and high-definition audio outputs, 1.3-megapixel web cameras, MMC/SD card readers, and four-cell batteries.
