SlySoft, a software company located in Caribbean nations Antigua and Barbuda
and maker of the AnyDVD ripping utility have
announced a software upgrade that defeats the BD+ protection used on some
Blu-ray discs. BD+ is a DRM solution for Blu-ray that was initially
developed by Cryptography Research Inc. In November, Macrovision struck a $45
million deal with CRI for the BD+ code and associated patents. I don't have
Blue-Ray, but congrats Slysoft on a job well done! :-) AnyDVD (HD) 6.4.0.0 can
be downloaded
here.
So has anyone ripped and then burned a blu ray disc? How was your experience?

In related news, there's a new version (v4.1.1.6 beta) of
DVDFab HD Decrypter. This program copies entire DVD movie to hard disk, and
removes all the protections (CSS, RC, RCE, APS, UOPs and Sony ARccOS) while
copying. It also comes with full HD-DVD and Blu-Ray support (Removes AACS).
