Chinese site
Expreview has gotten its hands on 3DMark05 and 3DMark06 performance scores
for a GeForce 8800 GT model with 512MB of memory. According to the site's
screenshots, the 8800 GT scored 19881 in 3DMark05 at 1024x768, and 12072 in
3DMark06 at 1280x1024. Expreview says the test system was outfitted with a Core
2 Duo E6600 processor overclocked to 3.6GHz, a motherboard with an Nvidia nForce
650i Ultra chipset, 2GB of DDR2-800 memory running with 5-5-5-15 timings,
Windows XP Service Pack 2, and ForceWare 167.26 graphics drivers.
They also have published
some results with a Quad Core Q6600 processor overclocked to 2.8GHz, a
motherboard with an Nvidia nForce 650i Ultra chipset, 2GB of DDR2-800 memory
running with 5-5-5-15 timings, Windows XP Service Pack 2, and ForceWare 167.26
graphics drivers. We can see the G92 only lose about 17% comparing to the 8800
Ultra! Wow! The 512MB 8800GT will cost you about ~ 1,999RMB($266.2 USD).
