Madshrimps posted part #1 of their DDR2 Memory Roundup Summer 2007. They take a look at the performance numbers of 9 DDR2 2x1Gb Kits from OCZ, Kingston, Mushkin, Team Group and Corsair on the Intel P965 platform. Here's an excerpt:

First, a general word on the review you've just been reading. Some of our loyal readers might have thought "hey, I've seen this all before", and you probably will be right. This roundup has been a compilation of all the previous tests and reviews of DDR2 on the Asus P5B-deluxe platform. A lot of the text has been rewritten though to meet today's point of view: some of the kits were recently surpassed by more powerful models, some of them have dropped seriously in price, and some have moved into a different lineup.

All this being said though, (almost) all these kits are still available today, and because they were some of the best performing DDR2 kits when they were first tested, they still really are very powerful memory kits today. In this respect I'd like to point you to my introduction again, in which I mentioned that DDR2 has not evolved that much in the last year. This is proven exactly by this roundup, and will be proven again in the next part.
