Resident Evil: Extinction, an upcoming 2007 film, is a sequel to the 2004 film Resident Evil: Apocalypse and is the third installment in a series of film adaptations very loosely based on the popular Capcom survival horror game series Resident Evil. The film is set to be released in the United States on September 21, 2007, and in Europe on September 28, 2007.
