Lifted (download) is the latest short film from Pixar which have a nice tradition of releasing fun short films.

Alien Teenager Stu is taking his abduction exam and to pass he must abduct a sleeping farmer under the supervision of his instructor. Stu is having troubles with the numerous switches at his disposal to control the tractor beam, after a bumpy ride the farmer boy is finally onboard the space ship but Stu forgets to close the door on the bottom of the ship before he shuts of the tractor beam. Stu have failed the examination and his instructor takes over and returns the farmer boy to safety, when Stu starts crying his instructor promises him that he can fly the space ship back home to sheer him up, needless to say Stu makes a mess of the farmers house.

FYI, Lifted was nominated for best animated short film on January 23, 2007 in nominations announced for the 79th Academy Awards.
