The chaps over at OCC have published a new review of the Maxtor 750GB OneTouch III which boasts bus transfer rates of up to 800 Mb/sec and sustained transfer rates of 73 MB/sec. Could this be the solution to your data dilemma? :P

The setup and use of the OneTouch III is far easier than I had expected. I have owned Maxtor products in the past and I'm still very impressed with the simplicity and functionality of the products and the software. The OneTouch III is solidly built and I am sure it can withstand everyday mobile usage if required. Although it would have been nice to see a network port, the availability of 3 methods of connectivity adds to the attractive qualities of this drive. The capacity of 750 GB is plenty of space for most users, and should be adequate for quite some time.
