During an event in Singapore,
Nokia
added three new mid-range phones, the 6121 Classic, the 6267, and the 3500
Classic, to its lineup. All three are quad-band GSM and can roam in the U.S.
They will ship in the third quarter of 2007.
6121 Classic: This candybar is similar in most respects to the 6120
Classic announced in April. It has quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and dual-band
WCDMA 900/2100 radios and it runs the Symbian S60 smartphone platform. The 6121
also includes two cameras for video calls and the main camera is 2 Megapixels
with flash and a panorama mode.
6267: This clamshell phone offers quad-band GSM/EDGE, as well as
dual-band WCDMA 850/2100 3G. Like the 6121, the 6267 also has two cameras for
video calling, and the main camera is 2 Megapixels with a flash. It runs Series
40 and has an improved media player interface. It comes in 4 different colors
(black, orange, silver and blue.
3500 Classic: This Series 40 candybar phone supports quad-band GSM/EDGE.
It includes a 2 Megapixel camera, MP3 player, FM radio and a large contact
database of up to 2,000 names.
