Its Google Play Protect system scanned more than 350 billion Android apps daily, identifying and blocking over 27 million malicious apps from outside sources while expanded fraud protections across 185 markets stopped 266 million risky installation attempts on over 2.8 billion devices. The company highlighted ongoing investments in generative AI, enhanced privacy tools, and features like in-call scam protections to combat evolving threats from malware, fraud, and spam.
