Samsung has unveiled a new Privacy Display feature for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, built directly into the hardware to limit viewing angles and prevent shoulder surfing in public. Spotted in One UI 8.5 code and now shown in a teaser video, it darkens the screen from side views without needing third-party protectors. Options include Auto Privacy for crowded areas, scheduling, selective app protection, and a Maximum Privacy mode that dims brightness further. Exclusive to the S26 Ultra due to specialized display tech, this upgrade enhances security for notifications, gallery images, and lock screens.
