All
tests were done on an Intel 975X based mobo with a core Core number numeral
core QX6700 @ 2.66Ghz. Memory was two sticks of 512M, nothing was overclocked.
The one I would pay attention to is the 3DMark2006 1280*1024 numbers
specifically. They line up almost exactly with my older numbers, the main
difference probably comes from the newer 100.95 drivers. For the pedantic, all
had 256MB of memory on a 128b bus. The 8500 had a 600MHz core with 400MHz Hynix
DDR2 memory and the 8600GT ran at the same 600MHz with 700MHz Hynix DDR3. The
8600GTS was the odd one out, it used Samsung DDR3 at 1GHz with a core clock of
675MHz.
It looks like a decent spread, the 8500 is pretty weak, but it is the low end card...
