The reception for Nvidia's latest RTX 4070 has been atrocious. You want to give us less performance and also charge consumers more money at the same time? Go pound sand! The X70 series of graphic cards from all the previous generations have been some of the most popular GPUs. Traditionally they have delivered performance that was on par with the previous generation flagship at a feasible mid-range price, something attainable for the masses. The RTX 4070 failed to achieve that and resulted in this generation's "mid-range" having terrible sales. I was glad to see that this time around consumers said no, this is an awful deal and we won't be buying it. Retailers all over the world are showing plenty of RTX 4070 models sitting in stock with many of them at MSRP. Hopefully this sends a strong message to manufacturers that these high prices aren't going to fly and somethings going to have to change.
