BCC takes a look at the Plextor 250GB Network Attached Storage. This device comes configured as a DHCP client so when you plug it in, it will automatically get an IP from your networks DHCP server. If you have no DHCP server on your network the unit will default to the static IP 192.168.0.200. You will be able to log in through the web interface and change the IP manually if you desire.

Over the past year I've setup and used several Network Attached Storage devices aimed at mainstream consumers. After using the PX-EH for a few weeks, I can honestly say that it will be the last one I'll use. It is fast, feature-packed and works as advertised. It is a solid FTP server, File Server, additional storage server, and even a print server. If you were to purchase all the devices individually, it would cost you way more. I really can't begin to say how impressed I am with this product. It's good.

- Fast transfer rates.
- Virtually silent.
- Professional look.
- FTP, Print Server & USB HDD server.

Cons:
- Print Server is a little slow.
