Today, Apple is releasing yet another round of betas for its next minor updates. This time though, there's no new build for macOS 11.2 Big Sur. The seventh developer previews are available for iOS 14.5, iPadOS 14.5, watchOS 7.4, and tvOS 14.5. While seven seems like an extraordinarily high amount of beta revisions to go through for a minor update, it's worth noting that there are actually a bunch of new features on the way. A big one is that iPhone users will finally be able to unlock their iPhone with an Apple Watch, solving the pain point of trying to use Face ID with a mask on. There are also new emoji characters, and support for new Xbox and PlayStation controllers, something that Apple has been promising for a while. Another thing you'll see is more privacy controls, with apps asking if they're allowed to track you. As for when these updates will actually ship, it should be soon. This is the seventh build, and while there could be more, Apple really doesn't go too far beyond this. Plus, WWDC is in June, and that's when Apple will announce its next big major updates.
