Microsoft sent over word that
Geometry Wars: Combat Evolved, the popular Xbox Live Arcade game from
developer Bizarre Creations, is now available to download for PCs equipped with
the Windows Vista OS. The full game can be downloaded at the
MSN Games site for $7.95. The game can be
purchased online ($7.95), and there is also
a demo version to try before you buy. Though it only requires DirectX 9.0c,
the game will not, in fact, install under other version of Windows besides Vista
("or later" as the forward-looking error message states).
