Apple is rolling out iOS 14.2.1 that brings with it a few fixes for the iPhone 12 series phones. One of the main fixes brought by the firm is for the recently released iPhone 12 Mini, which has been experiencing an issue with the lock screen that results in the device becoming unresponsive. The said problem seems to have been plaguing iPhone 12 mini phones since launch day, guessing from the number of
responses in a Reddit thread and
user reports on Apple's forums. Users have been complaining of the screen rejecting thumb input or wide presses on the screen, with the phone only recognizing light taps for both dismissing the lock screen or using the shortcut icons for the camera or flashlight. In addition to the touch issues, the Cupertino firm has also fixed problems with MMS messages and some audio issues. Here is the complete changelog:
