As expected,
BMW unveiled its M3 Concept today in Geneva. In a word: stunning. It's the
picture of four-wheeled performance. From its bulging fenders, gaping air inlets
and carbon fiber roof; everything about the M3 Concept screams tire-smoking
motoring of the highest order. Since this is a concept, the mechanical details
aren't set in stone. But the vehicle that sat at BMW's stand comes equipped with
a 420+ HP V8 and will likely get a six-speed manual or a new twin-clutch
gearbox. To save weight, it's got a carbon fiber roof and aluminum hood, along
with 19" light alloys. Yeah, we were surprised at the hots on this one. Expect
the production model to appear later this year in Frankfurt.
