Samsung's
latest Ultra-Mobile PC, the Q1P, is Vista certified and available! Samsung
Electronics America, based in Irvine, continues to stuff serious technology into
this 1.7-pound machine. Keep in mind, Samsung intends the Q1P to be a companion
to a larger PC. I'm not sure why. This comes with the usual key computer
components: Pentium Processor running at 1 GHz, 1GB of Memory, 60GB hard drive,
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a 7-inch LCD touch screen and Windows Vista Home Premium.
Battery life runs about 2.5 hours. Since it's a touch screen, it can also be
used to jot down notes like a tablet PC. Price is $1,299 and available at Best
Buy, CDW, Buy.com and other retailers.
