Intel's Comet Lake will be a 10 core part that launches in the first quarter of 2020, and will be aiming to increase single core performance while holding off AMD's Matisse platform. Matisse will launch july 7th, along with the x570 platform and also Navi (assuming TSMC can keep up). We'll see a minimum of 12 cores, but AMD's partners are expecting 16 cores for the Am4 platform, with aggressive clock speed support.
