Computer-in-a-keyboard goes retro - [hardware] 10:24 AM EST - Mar,15 2006 - post a comment
Remember the old home micros, where the entire system was housed in the
keyboard?
A new company is making PCs the same way, only this time there's 3GHz
Pentium 4s under the hood!
This is not a new concept, but it's specification certainly overshadows that of its ancestry. The system features an Intel Pentium 4 3.2GHz 800FSB processor, 2GB 400MHz DDR, Intel Extreme integrated graphics, built-in speakers, built-in two button touch-pad with scroll, gigabit Ethernet, 4 x USB 2.0, 2 x serial, parallel, PS/2, DVI and S-Video ports. Options include removable 2.5” HDD, DVD+/-RW, built-in 7-in-1 card reader plus modem. The system is also remarkably quiet in operation.
