Microsoft has paused the rollout of the Windows 10 "October" Update to some users. According to the
1809 support page, Intel "inadvertently released versions of its display driver (versions 24.20.100.6344, 24.20.100.6345) to OEMs that accidentally turned on unsupported features in Windows." A quick search shows that these drivers aren't listed on Intel's driver
website, but the info on 3rd party hosts suggests that they popped up around October, and some OEMs like
Lenovo seem to have pushed 6344 out earlier in November. Microsoft has a support thread for users affected by the bug
here.
