Youtube CEO Susan Wojcicki has released a blog post and video detailing some of the viewer count stats that the company has tabulated over the past year. 1.9 billion logged in viewers visit the video streaming website each month and watch 180 million hours of video each day. There has been a 35% rise in the number of people who make a 5 digit salary from Youtube and a 40% rise in the amount of people that make a six digit salary from the service. Livestreaming on the site has increased by 10X over the past 3 years. Those stats show the incredible amount of growth that has occurred in the platform.
