xxaarraa claims to have used a Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone to capture an underwater image, after which the device refused to charge with a wall adapter, instead displaying a 'Moisture detected in the charging port'. As of the writing of this post, the phone can only be charged slowly, and the owner will get a replacement. It's important to note that Samsung has managed to get the S7 and S7 Edge to be IP68 certified even though they have an exposed micro USB charging port, but the company has apparently added additional safeguards to compensate for this shortcoming, thus lowering the risk of a short-circuit for people who did not read the manual. In the official manual, Samsung mentions the fact that the IP68 certification is not an absolute guarantee that your S7 or S7 Edge smartphone will survive any conditions, so think twice before you go swimming with it :-)
