

ASUS has come with
a new range of Z170 motherboards. The new range comprises of the Signature Series and the Republic of Gamers Maximus VIII Z170 motherboards. The Maximum VIII line includes the Maximus VIII Hero, Maximus VIII Ranger, and the Maximus VIII Gene gaming motherboards that have been designed to deliver supreme overclocking performance with the latest 6th Gen Intel Skylake processors and DDR4 memory. These motherboards feature 5-Way optimization auto-tuning technology that allows for instant performance boosts, second-generation T-Topology for next-level DDR4 memory overclocking, dedicated water-pump for superior cooling, multiple PWM onboard headers and thermal sensors, and Pro Clock technology for turbo-charged base-clock (BCLK) frequencies. Audio will be handled by SupremeFX 2015 and Sonic Studio II, along with other gaming grade components such as latest Gigabit Ethernet, LANGuard, and GameFirst technologies. The Z170 Signature Series on the other hand is targeted at the casual gamers and those who would be building their PC for day-to-day productivity and entertainment purposes. However, ASUS hasn't skimped on performance with the Signature Series lineup as these too come with 5-Way Optimization technology, T-Topology DDR4 memory overclocking, Crystal Sound 3, Intel Ethernet with LANGuard, Turbo LAN, onboard type-A and type-C USB 3.1 ports, and M.2 support. In addition to these features, the Z170 Deluxe offers six USB 3.1 ports, 3×3 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Hyper M.2 x4 Mini card, and U.2 Hyper Kit.
